THANKSGIVING FOR 29 NOV 2014:

After seeing all the people on Facebook having babies, I am thankful to the Lord for putting my Lupus in remission as I carried my Love, Irvin Lee Isbell Jr!  I know it was God because when I carried him home my Lupus went into a terrible flare.  But God saw fit to give me the strength to care for him.  I attended 99% of his events and was kept by God to cheer for him.  NO matter how sick I was he gave me strength to help him with homework and guide him.  I am so thankful for my son.  He is so compassionate.  I am thankful for the times he lotioned my feet as an elementary kid.  I am thankful as a middle schooler this kid helped cooked when I was sick, even as a high schooler.  I am so thankful as a high schooler he met me every night to help me out of my car upon return from work.  This boy's daddy worked the 3-11 shift and he was the man of the house for that time:  putting out the garbage, locking windows and windows, engaging the alarm, etc.  I AM SO THANKFUL!  I am thankful for my husband, who as a boyfriend, attended my Lupus meetings.  He was a college student but cared enough to learn about the disease.  I am thankful that when it was time to marry, he attended Pre-Cana classes, required for Catholic marriages, while we were in college, one year in advance of our marriage.  He also attended the 6 months marriage counseling sessions required before marriage.  I AM SO THANKFUL!  This man has taken care of me throughout all my illnesses.  He even speaks for me when I can't speak for myself.  I am thankful that he does my dialysis.  I am thankful to have my own private duty nurse.  THANK YOU JESUS!  I AM THANKFUL!

THANKSGIVING FOR 28 NOV 2014.

I am thankful for a day of rest and reflection.  Thankful that I can walk on my own, think clearly, and eat.  I do not take these for granite.  The times without these abilities make (demand) me appreciate them.  I am so thankful for the gift of healing that flows from my belief and patience.  Glory be to the name of the Lord!  I am most thankful for the activists in our communities helping those less fortunate.  Their compassion propel me to continue doing what I can do.  I am thankful for the teachers who do consider their jobs as a ministry.  They give all of themselves to ensure the success of our kids.  I am thankful for the police who do great jobs in our communities.  I was one of those children who benefited from a community program by the Beaumont Texas Police Department.  I am thankful for the pastors, ministers, evangelists, teachers, etc. who listen to the word of God and moves out at his directions, no matter how hard.  I am so thankful for single moms who try to fill the two roles in the family while working two to three jobs.  They do their best with all exhaustion and still bear criticism with dignity.  I am so thank for the dads who MAN UP and do their jobs, also working multiple jobs to provide for their families.  I am truly thankful for friends who are ride or die friends.  They chastise when need, encourage me when I'm down, cheer me on when I'm up and pray for me daily.  LOVE YOU ALL.  I HAVE A LOT TO BE THANKFUL FOR!

Thankful!
